Just a short post so you guys know I didn't die on my way back to my home planet.

Welcome, or welcome back, readers. It's another weird weather cycle in the West South Central U.S. You'd think after living here my entire life I'd be used to it by now, but somehow I'm just as vulnerable to the brutal summer heats as I was when I was a kid.

This isn't a real post, unfortunately. I've spent the time since my last post preparing to move! I wasn't expecting that to be the case when I was writing before, and even when I first started cleaning and packing I figured it would be pretty easy to set aside some time to get some writing in. As it turns out, writing was the easy part; it turns out it's actually pretty hard to sit down and watch some anime or read some literature when you're scrambling to get everything together to move. So even though I've had the time and energy to write, I don't really have anything to write about. I don't want this site to hard shift into a personal life blog, or at least, not the kind that was killed off by the rise of Twitter and other social media.

So basically, this is just another update post. I didn't want my last post to be "I'll be back next week!" only for a week to go by with no updates. Especially because I'm still banned on Twitter. But seriously, next week I will be back for real with a more proper post. Until then!
